Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Pomarinho's Adelino Sá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oldroes's Adolfo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Sá in the 7th minute of play. Adelino Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Neves having to interfere. Carlos Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Jesus hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Oldroes's Hélder Branco tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If João Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Teixeira's late challenge caught a Oldroes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, SC Pomarinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Bento Torres made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Joaquim Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Bento Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Pacheco in the 28th minute of the match. Oldroes's Adolfo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Sá in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Abel Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Neves having to interfere. After 46 played minutes SC Pomarinho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Jesus. Oldroes's Joaquim Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Oliveira Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Oliveira Pacheco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pomarinho's Bento Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Pomarinho getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gaspar Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Oliveira Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pomarinho's zone, Joaquim Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Torres came out of the goal and Joaquim Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliveira Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bento Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Oldroes's Oliveira Pacheco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Adelino Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Neves having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pomarinho's zone, Joaquim Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oldroes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Pomarinho for a fine match.
