Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Resende having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Rafael Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Pedro Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Pedro Miranda took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Resende. Manuel Resende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Curia's Armindo Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curia's Manuel Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Oliveira in the 46th minute of play. If Pedro Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Américo Castro was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Coelho made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Rafael Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Armindo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Manuel Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Monteiro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Oliveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Manuel Coelho however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Curia's zone, Américo Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Coelho came out of the goal and Américo Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armindo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Manuel Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Azevedo in the 85th minute of play. Curia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
