Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Álvaro Leão made the kick off which started today's match. Catarino Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If António Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Figueiredo having to interfere. A collision led to Mouriz FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Basílio Antunes hit a great ball. José Leite in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Catarino Aleixo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. António Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Aleixo having to interfere. António Paiva struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Catarino Aleixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rato. The supporters of Mouriz FC booed when Rato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Basílio Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mouriz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Álvaro Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mouriz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Paiva was the one to do the kick off. José Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Rato's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Leão came free, but António Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Fernando Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Eusébio Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of António Figueiredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rato's José Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Basílio Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouriz FC's Álvaro Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Catarino Aleixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Leite ran back to his position shaking his head.
