Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Paiva got the match started through his kick off. If António Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Diamantino Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Resende hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rato defense, António Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Figueiredo. The Rato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cerdeiral's goalkeeper Diamantino Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Vítor Resende dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of António Figueiredo, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rato's António Paiva got a free kick in the 26th minute. Vítor Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. António Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Marques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Leite went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Rato's António Figueiredo got control of the ball when António Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Marques having to interfere. In the 44th minute Fernando Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Diamantino Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Paiva in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

José Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Marques having to make a save. Vítor Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. António Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute António Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. António Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Figueiredo having to interfere. António Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Resende in the 86th minute of play. António Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. António Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Vítor Resende notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Rato's António Figueiredo. António Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Resende in the 95th minute of play forced Rato's goalkeeper António Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
