Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tomás Silva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tomás Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Aleixo having to interfere. With a little luck, Meirinho's Henrique Pinho got control of the ball when Basílio Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Mouriz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Amorim to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Meirinho got a corner. Mouriz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bento Viegas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Álvaro Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diamantino Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Leão in the 31st minute of play forced Meirinho's goalkeeper Henrique Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meirinho's Henrique Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Meirinho from getting a goal against them. Fábio Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Henrique Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Basílio Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Álvaro Leão came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mouriz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Leão couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Meirinho's Tomás Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Catarino Aleixo. Catarino Aleixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Raul Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Catarino Aleixo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bento Viegas. In the 70th minute, Nuno Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Leão in the 76th minute of play forced Meirinho's goalkeeper Henrique Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Álvaro Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Anjos got free with Catarino Aleixo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-2 became the score in the 91st minute when Diamantino Anjos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Diamantino Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meirinho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
