Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Louza's Jorge Coelho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, SC Penilhos's Afonso Dantas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, SC Louza's goalkeeper Gonçalo Matias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Henriques. A collision led to SC Penilhos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abel Teixeira hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes SC Penilhos got a freekick which was hit by Luís Torres. When Nuno Alves fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Penilhos's protests and gave Nuno Alves a yellow card for diving instead. Gonçalo Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Dantas in the 22nd minute of the match. Carlos Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Jorge Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Tavares. SC Penilhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 31st minute Afonso Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Coelho in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jorge Coelho sped through SC Penilhos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Tavares. Diogo Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The SC Penilhos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Louza were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Afonso Dantas made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jorge Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Louza's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, SC Louza's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Henriques came free, but Gonçalo Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carlos Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Gaspar's late challenge caught a SC Penilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Gaspar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Penilhos booed when SC Louza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes, SC Penilhos's Jacinto Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonçalo Matias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Penilhos reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Dantas in the 64th minute of play forced SC Louza's goalkeeper Gonçalo Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Jacinto Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Louza getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Miguel Gaspar hit a great ball. Diogo Coimbra hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Louza's goalkeeper Gonçalo Matias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Rocha's late challenge caught a SC Penilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Louza!
