Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cândido Barros started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, David Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Araújo in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, SC Gabrieis's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Matos came free, but Gabriel Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lourenço Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Moniz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When SC Gabrieis's Cândido Barros in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Freixo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Lopes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 24th playminute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Carlos Lopes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. David Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Lopes got free with Alberto Garcia in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cândido Barros took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Garcia. Alberto Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alberto Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Lopes in the 38th minute. Carlos Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alberto Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carlos Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the SC Gabrieis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Lopes couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Américo Matos made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Freixo FC's David Aguiar got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alberto Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Carlos Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Lopes in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Freixo FC's Alberto Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Lopes in the 82nd minute of play. Cândido Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Garcia having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Cândido Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Gabrieis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Gabrieis had won after a very even match.
