Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sérgio Nogueira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Rodrigo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Penajoia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SC Penajoia booed when SC Avo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Avo's Afonso Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Brito in the 6th minute of play. Ricardo Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. André Marques, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Penajoia's zone, Afonso Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Gonçalves came out of the goal and Afonso Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. André Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Anjos. SC Avo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sérgio Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Vicente Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Afonso Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sérgio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Avo's Sérgio Nogueira got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Rogério Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sérgio Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Gonçalves having to interfere. Rogério Pinheiro lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Penajoia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The referee gave SC Avo a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Andrade, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Penajoia's Vicente Gonçalves. 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Correia was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 70th minute Sérgio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vicente Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodrigo Correia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SC Penajoia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Correia couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, SC Penajoia's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Borges came free, but Vicente Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Rafael Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Penajoia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Avo the free kick. A collision led to SC Penajoia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rafael Brito hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, SC Penajoia's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Borges came free, but Vicente Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 played minutes SC Penajoia got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Correia. After 100 played minutes SC Penajoia got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Brito. In the 101st minute, Rodrigo Andrade sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Penajoia's Vicente Gonçalves didn't even have to move. SC Avo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
