Joaquim Leiria hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sernelha FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Diamantino Miranda hit a great ball. Nuno Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Oliveira in the 10th minute of the match. Jorge Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Leão having to interfere. Jorge Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Leão having to interfere. When Bernardo Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Sernelha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Freitas couldn't finish the play. Sernelha FC's Nuno Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sernelha FC from getting a goal against them. SC Nariz's Jorge Pinheiro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Sernelha FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eusébio Pereira hit a great ball. Joaquim Amaro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ricardo Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Bernardo Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Raul Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Nariz and the Sernelha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raul Antunes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Pereira in the 48th minute of play forced SC Nariz's goalkeeper Adolfo Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Nuno Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Nariz's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jorge Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Nariz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. In the 57thth minute of the game Ricardo Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sernelha FC's Nuno Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Nariz getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luís Ferro hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, SC Nariz's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Pereira came free, but Adolfo Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Pinheiro in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Joaquim Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Magalhães in the 67th minute of play forced Sernelha FC's goalkeeper Nuno Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eusébio Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sernelha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Pereira couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes SC Nariz got a freekick which was hit by António Magalhães. Bernardo Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Ricardo Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nuno Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Nariz booed when Sernelha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sernelha FC's Nuno Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pinheiro in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of SC Nariz booed when Sernelha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Oliveira lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Sernelha FC's Sérgio Barbosa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adolfo Andrade. Bernardo Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
