In the 9th minute Lourenço Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Jesus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Coimbra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Mendes in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Machado was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Emanuel Mendes struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rui Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malhadas FC. In the 37th minute, Joaquim Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alexandre Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Malhadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Jesus came free, but Hugo Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Coimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Nunes in the 61st minute of the match. Malhadas FC's Hugo Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Nunes in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to SC Ancede getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Daniel Nunes hit a great ball. Emanuel Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rui Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Lourenço Jesus made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Coimbra. Malhadas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Malhadas FC's goalkeeper Hugo Coimbra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Ancede's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
