Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Soares started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Cristiano Faria got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 10 minutes into the match, Formigosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Castro came free, but Vítor Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes, Alexandre Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Carvicaes and the Formigosa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Alexandre Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Ricardo Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Carvicaes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formigosa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Carvicaes's Ricardo Castro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Adolfo Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Adolfo Pedroso came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Formigosa FC's Adelino Soares. But to his dismay, Adelino Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adolfo Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute, Vítor Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Joaquim Morais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Ricardo Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Adelino Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Borges fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Carvicaes's protests and gave Vítor Borges a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Cabral's late challenge caught a Formigosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Carvicaes's Lucas Cabral got a free kick in the 48th minute. SC Carvicaes's Adolfo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Morais in the 49th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Castro was the one to do the kick off. Adelino Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Formigosa FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nuno Magalhães hit a great ball. After 59 minutes of play SC Carvicaes's Lucas Cabral was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th match minute, SC Carvicaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Cabral to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, SC Carvicaes's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Magalhães came free, but Adolfo Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Adelino Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes in the game, Joaquim Morais dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Formigosa FC's Adelino Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Pedroso came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Formigosa FC's Joaquim Morais. But to his dismay, Joaquim Morais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Adelino Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Pedroso having to interfere. Adolfo Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Morais in the 86th minute. Joaquim Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Adolfo Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Carvicaes's Adolfo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Soares in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, SC Carvicaes's Adolfo Pedroso got control of the ball when Joaquim Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Pedroso having to interfere. Formigosa FC played a much better game than SC Carvicaes and deserved their victory. The SC Carvicaes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
