Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Emanuel Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Setúbal having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Emanuel Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ferro in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Setúbal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nuno Leão struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gramachinha. After a rather tough play, Atouguio FC's Viriato Brás got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Emanuel Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Carvalho in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Emanuel Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Gramachinha got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Delgado. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Ferro was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vicente Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Anjos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Nuno Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ferro in the 64th minute of play forced Atouguio FC's goalkeeper Pedro Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Leão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Setúbal having to make a save. A collision led to Atouguio FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Miguel Paiva hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Setúbal was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, Gramachinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Delgado to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, one of Gramachinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rui Vaz took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Anjos. André Anjos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a little luck, Gramachinha's André Anjos got control of the ball when Vicente Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gramachinha's Emanuel Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gramachinha booed when Atouguio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Leão in the 97th minute of the match. In the 99th minute Nuno Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atouguio FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atouguio FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
