When Rafael Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Logocem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Veiga couldn't finish the play. Joel Paredes made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Humberto Setúbal sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Pereira during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Humberto Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Pinho made a kick off. The supporters of Logocem booed when Cevide FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Rafael Veiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Assunção. The goal made the score 0-1. After some careless play in the Logocem defense, Humberto Setúbal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Paredes. The Logocem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Paredes should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Marco Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Rafael Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
