Daniel Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guia FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Henrique Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bruno Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Delgado. Guia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 20 played minutes Torrados FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gomes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Brito in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alexandre Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Castro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Guia FC were awarded a corner. Henrique Correia went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 47th minute, Cláudio Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cláudio Brito was the one to do the kick off. Cláudio Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eduardo Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guia FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Simões got free with Eduardo Fonseca in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Torrados FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
