In the 4th minute Artur Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Caldelas got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Ferreira. Carlos Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Carlos Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caldelas's Carlos Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Moura in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Caldelas's Artur Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nuno Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leal having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Caldelas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Moura came free, but Carlos Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Caldelas's Artur Guerreiro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Guerreiro was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Neves struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Carlos Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adegoiva FC. After a defensive mix-up in Caldelas's zone, Nuno Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Leal came out of the goal and Nuno Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Xavier Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adegoiva FC and the Caldelas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xavier Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Diogo Guerreiro was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Artur Guerreiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artur Guerreiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. A collision led to Adegoiva FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vicente Anjos hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Carlos Neves made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Leal. Caldelas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Neves in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Leal saved Caldelas from getting behind. When Caldelas's Artur Guerreiro in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Adegoiva FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Adegoiva FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caldelas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
