In the 13th minute, Cândido Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Amílcar Freitas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diogo Guerreiro skillfully saved the ball. When Luís Santos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SC Chavao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Santos couldn't finish the play. Simão Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Guerreiro having to interfere. Nuno Moura struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Alexandre Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adegoiva FC. If Carlos Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Guerreiro having to interfere. Adegoiva FC's Diogo Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Santos in the 40th minute of play. Diogo Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Almeida in the 41st minute of the match. Nuno Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Neves scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Moura made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Carlos Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Adegoiva FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Adegoiva FC's Nuno Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Simão Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Chavao's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diogo Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Almeida in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Luís Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Guerreiro having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, SC Chavao's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Moura came free, but Alexandre Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, SC Chavao's Simão Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute Carlos Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
