After having played for 18 minutes, Cândido Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Donalda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Chainca's zone, António Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Machado came out of the goal and António Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Morais in the 25th minute. A collision led to SC Chainca getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Afonso Faria hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Afonso Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chainca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Donalda the free kick. After having played for 40 minutes, André Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Chainca's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes SC Chainca got a freekick which was hit by André Cruz. The SC Donalda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Chainca were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Campos to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Campos in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Donalda's goalkeeper Rogério Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 74th match minute, SC Chainca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Alves to maneuver through the defense. The SC Donalda supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Chainca's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Chainca.
