Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaspar Leal kicked off to start the match. The Chiqueiro FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Chiqueiro FC's José Alves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Resende having to make a save. 1-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Gaspar Leal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Chiqueiro FC's José Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Resende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Leal struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. António Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gave. After 27 minutes, Joaquim Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gave and the Chiqueiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Gave got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Freitas. Filipe Resende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Teixeira went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mariano Mota hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. José Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Resende having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gave's Sérgio Melo got a free kick in the 47th minute. The audience held their breath when Mariano Mota in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Filipe Resende's left hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Gave was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Melo to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Resende acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emílio Lisboa. José Alves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 57th playminute. 65 minutes into the game, Rui Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gave's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiqueiro FC the free kick. If Gustavo Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Teixeira in the 80th minute of play. José Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Filipe Resende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulo Teixeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filipe Resende came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Teixeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gave's goalkeeper Filipe Resende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Chiqueiro FC's José Alves made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Resende was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the match, Chiqueiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Leal came free, but António Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chiqueiro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
