Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Vizeu's Jaime Mota started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Bastelo's Emílio Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diamantino Maia's late challenge caught a Bastelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Maia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, SC Vizeu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Maia to maneuver through the defense. Bastelo's Gil Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Francisco Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Mota struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jacinto Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Vizeu. In the 17th minute, Bastelo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diamantino Maia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emílio Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Francisco Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Mota in the 26th minute of the match. João Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Diamantino Maia took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Borges. Jacinto Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th minute, Diamantino Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Diamantino Maia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bastelo's Jacinto Borges. Jacinto Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Guerreiro was the one to do the kick off. Emílio Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, João Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Jaime Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vizeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emílio Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute of the match Bastelo got a corner. SC Vizeu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Amaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bastelo's Pedro Amaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francisco Miranda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th match minute Pedro Amaro ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Francisco Miranda. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vizeu's zone, Gil Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Miranda came out of the goal and Gil Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Pedro Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bastelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Vizeu the free kick. In the 81st minute, Pedro Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Bastelo's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Maia came free, but Jacinto Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emílio Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Bastelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Emílio Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bastelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Vizeu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
