Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Garcia kicked off to start the match. Fábio Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Pinto hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Júlio Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Joaquim Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Papadussos's Fernando Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Júlio Matos came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Papadussos's Paulo Garcia. But to his dismay, Paulo Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernando Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Silva in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Alverca FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Filipe Rocha hit a great ball. Alverca FC's Júlio Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Campos in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Campos in the 22nd minute of play forced Alverca FC's goalkeeper Júlio Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fernando Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gaspar Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alverca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Papadussos's Fernando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Silva in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, SC Papadussos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Moreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 30thth minute of the game Joaquim Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Papadussos's Fernando Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Silva in the 31st minute of play. Fábio Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fernando Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alverca FC's Joaquim Silva in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Papadussos's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Matos having to interfere. The supporters of SC Papadussos booed when Alverca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Silva made a kick off. If Alexandre Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Júlio Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gaspar Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Silva in the 64th minute of play forced SC Papadussos's goalkeeper Fernando Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fernando Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Paredes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. After 79 minutes, José Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Papadussos and the Alverca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the game, Joaquim Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fernando Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júlio Matos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from António Gaspar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alexandre Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Papadussos's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SC Papadussos booed when Alverca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Papadussos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Papadussos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
