Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Pereira got the match started through his kick off. André Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Alfredo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Gomes went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Vítor Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Gonca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Alfredo Barros scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Garcia, making the score, 1-1. Jorge Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. André Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Garcia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from António Macedo. Eduardo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Carlos Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Jorge Gomes made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Mereces's André Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Queirós made a kick off. Marco Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Barros in the 64th minute of play forced SC Gonca's goalkeeper Carlos Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Mereces's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Vítor Queirós scored to the left of an out of position André Silva, making the score, 1-3. 69 minutes into the match, Alfredo Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Garcia. SC Gonca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 72 minutes into the match, SC Gonca's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Barros came free, but Carlos Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Queirós struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. André Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gonca. In the 81st minute, Vítor Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jorge Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Gonca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Gomes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Gomes could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which André Silva however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Vítor Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for André Silva to make any attempt to save it. The SC Mereces supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Gonca's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Gonca.
