After a defensive mix-up in SC Chocas's zone, Paulo Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Soares came out of the goal and Paulo Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Cunha during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingos Cunha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gil Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes SC Chocas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pinho. In the 65th minute of the match Manuel Leiria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Soares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Chocas's Tiago Amorim got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 76 minutes, Sebastião Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Outorela FC and the SC Chocas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Pinho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heitor Luz during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Heitor Luz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Outorela FC's Heitor Luz got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Heitor Luz off the ground. The audience was convinced that Daniel Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Leão was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
