Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Garcia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Inácio Faro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Catarino Henriques 7 minutes into the match. SC Alfaiao's Eusébio Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eusébio Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Inácio Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lúcio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Moreira having to interfere. SC Alfaiao's Catarino Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SC Alfaiao from getting a goal against them. Mar FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after SC Alfaiao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cláudio Lisboa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Américo Brito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Catarino Henriques quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Alexandre Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eusébio Garcia sped through Mar FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusébio Moreira. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Faro to make the kick off. Ricardo Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Alexandre Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Mar FC's Eusébio Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Mar FC from getting a goal against them. If Lúcio Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mar FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
