António Vieira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Marco Nunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Sá showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, António Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Campanario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Framilo the free kick. A collision led to SC Campanario getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. António Vieira hit a great ball. SC Campanario's José Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Lourenço Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Campanario's Adolfo Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Emílio Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Castro in the 26th minute of the match. SC Campanario's Bernardo Freitas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emílio Trindade but with some difficulty. If André Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Castro in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game André Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Campanario's Adolfo Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes of play SC Campanario's António Vieira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 37th match minute, SC Campanario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Framilo's goalkeeper Emílio Trindade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lourenço Monteiro made a kick off. André Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Castro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Campanario getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Afonso Castro hit a great ball. If André Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Framilo! The referee gave SC Campanario a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basílio Neto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Framilo's Emílio Trindade. 1-0. Emílio Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Monteiro in the 70th minute of play forced SC Campanario's goalkeeper Adolfo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Campanario's José Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, SC Framilo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. José Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, SC Campanario's goalkeeper Adolfo Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Ferro. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Ferro got free with Adolfo Sá in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Campanario's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
