Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vítor Delgado. Quinteiros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Diogo Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinteiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Codes FC's Vicente Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Figueiredo got free with Joel Barros in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Codes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Azevedo came free, but Joel Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Delgado having to interfere. Joel Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Jorge Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Codes FC's Cristiano Oliveira got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Codes FC's goalkeeper Joel Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Aguiar. When Augusto Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Quinteiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Aguiar couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Quinteiros's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Soares came free, but Vítor Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Vicente Soares made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Soares struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Vítor Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codes FC. Quinteiros's Diogo Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Quinteiros got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Nascimento. In the 65th minute Vicente Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Quinteiros getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Artur Matias hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Azevedo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Barros saved Codes FC from getting behind. Jorge Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Pires during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Codes FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marco Pires hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Quinteiros got a corner. Codes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amílcar Rocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 87th minute Jorge Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Aleixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vítor Delgado made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Augusto Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Vicente Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Codes FC's corner Amadeu Carvalho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vítor Delgado quite easily take care of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
