Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Virtelo FC's Basílio Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Afonso Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Xavier Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Américo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Assis having to interfere. Rafael Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Faria in the 20th minute of play. Rafael Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Faria in the 22nd minute of the match. Amadeu Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Assis having to interfere. Amadeu Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Folgados's Américo Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Assis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basílio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Afonso Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Américo Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Folgados's goalkeeper Afonso Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Sousa. In the 48thth minute of the game Basílio Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Folgados's Afonso Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Faria made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Amadeu Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Folgados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Virtelo FC booed when Folgados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes, Lucas Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Folgados and the Virtelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute Afonso Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Folgados's goalkeeper Afonso Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Folgados's Américo Faria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Basílio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rdth minute of the game Basílio Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Folgados's Afonso Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolfo Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Virtelo FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Adolfo Amorim hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Virtelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Cruz to maneuver through the defense.
