António Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Cardoso having to interfere. Xavier Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Pereira in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute António Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, one of SC Aboboda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Xavier Cardoso, was totally fooled by SC Joazim's Raul Costa, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Vaz in the 17th minute of play forced SC Joazim's goalkeeper João Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. João Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Vaz in the 21st minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Fernando Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Joazim's João Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delfim Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Aboboda's Xavier Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Pereira in the 34th minute of play. João Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Delfim Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Joazim's António Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfim Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavier Cardoso having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Xavier Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Pereira in the 54th minute of the match. Delfim Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Xavier Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Paiva had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fernando Vaz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 80th minute Fernando Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
