With a little luck, SC Cortegana's Diogo Carneiro got control of the ball when Luís Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diogo Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Assis in the 27th minute of the match. Diogo Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Inácio Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Mouraria's Filipe Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SC Mouraria booed when SC Cortegana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Diogo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, SC Cortegana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Henriques to maneuver through the defense. If Inácio Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Nunes having to interfere. Diogo Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
