Sandro Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Valente in the 14th minute of play. Eusébio Marques struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Joel Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nodeirinho FC. Bernardo Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sandro Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Mariano Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandro Borba made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bernardo Reis sent off a good shot on target. António Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Borba having to interfere. Joel Brito came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Nodeirinho FC's Eusébio Marques. But to his dismay, Eusébio Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Serradade's António Valente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandro Borba. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play.

52 minutes into the game, Xavier Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nodeirinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Serradade the free kick. Xavier Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Nodeirinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Valente came free, but Sandro Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Serradade's António Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Borba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Joel Brito made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Amílcar Faria sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Anjos charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Anjos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Anjos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nodeirinho FC booed when SC Serradade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Joel Brito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mariano Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Figueiredo got free with Joel Brito in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bernardo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Valente in the 92nd minute of play forced Nodeirinho FC's goalkeeper Sandro Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílcar Faria hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nodeirinho FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
