Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Teixeira in the 7th minute of the match. When Gil Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Ventuzel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Teixeira couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Eduardo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alvaredos FC's Rui Trindade in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Ventuzel's goalie prevented a goal. Fábio Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Tomás Brás ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rui Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvaredos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Trindade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ventuzel's goalkeeper Fábio Pedroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, SC Ventuzel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Américo Nascimento sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Ventuzel's Fábio Pedroso didn't even have to move. If Gil Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Teixeira in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, SC Ventuzel's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Trindade came free, but Fábio Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Trindade was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Domingues during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of SC Ventuzel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alvaredos FC:s goal. If Tomás Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cristóvão Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvaredos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristóvão Cunha heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Alvaredos FC booed when SC Ventuzel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Trindade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Fábio Pedroso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alvaredos FC's Rui Trindade was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the Alvaredos FC defense, Henrique Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Borges. The Alvaredos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Borges should have stopped the shot. Gil Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Borges having to interfere. In the 87th minute Tomás Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rui Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Ventuzel's Jaime Macedo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Fábio Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Leão in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute, Gil Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Ventuzel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. SC Ventuzel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alvaredos FC for a fine match.
