Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Cardoso took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Ventuzel's Fábio Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Cardoso in the 3rd minute of play. Alexandre Garcia struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Fábio Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padronelo. 12 minutes into the match, Padronelo's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Teixeira came free, but Nuno Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Padronelo's Nuno Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Teixeira in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Bernardo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padronelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gil Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Teixeira in the 30th minute of play forced Padronelo's goalkeeper Nuno Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Padronelo's Nuno Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Teixeira in the 33rd minute of play. Tomás Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Trindade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuno Barbosa. Padronelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. Fábio Pedroso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Garcia's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Mário Gaspar's late challenge caught a SC Ventuzel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Padronelo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mário Gaspar hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Padronelo's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Teixeira came free, but Nuno Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Brás took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Barbosa. Nuno Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 69th minute, Alexandre Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fábio Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Rui Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, SC Ventuzel's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Cardoso came free, but Fábio Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Bernardo Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Ventuzel's Gil Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
