José Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alexandre Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hugo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Aleixo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Aleixo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexandre Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Barbosa's Amílcar Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amílcar Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Joaquim Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Abel Pacheco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute of the match Emílio Moura shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Vaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Amílcar Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Barbosa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fouto FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Alexandre Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Lima during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adelino Lima hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Fouto FC's Joaquim Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Adelino Lima struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. José Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fouto FC. With a little luck, Barbosa's José Vaz got control of the ball when Joaquim Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Fouto FC booed when Barbosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Lima was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Fouto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Fouto FC's Abel Pacheco got a free kick in the 89th minute. Adelino Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. José Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Alexandre Aleixo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Barbosa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
