Delfim Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Lima having to interfere. In the 5th minute Mário Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peniche's André Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Macedo in the 6th minute of play. Peniche's João Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If André Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Lima having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Gomes during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Peniche fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Peniche's André Porto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. André Lima came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Pontevel's Delfim Macedo. But to his dismay, Delfim Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Delfim Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. André Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Costa in the 90th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 91st minute when André Porto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
