Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Machado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Artur Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes of play, SC Gadunho's Artur Dantas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes, Lavachos's Basílio Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xavier Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lavachos reached it. Artur Dantas struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gaspar Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gadunho. After 20 played minutes SC Gadunho got a freekick which was hit by André Ferreira. After recieving a nice pass, Lavachos's Álvaro Gomes tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fernando Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Lavachos's Daniel Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavier Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Artur Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gaspar Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Vasco Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Dantas was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lavachos's zone, Artur Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Mendes came out of the goal and Artur Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasco Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Mendes having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Lavachos's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Dantas came free, but Gaspar Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lavachos getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. João Pinheiro hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SC Gadunho defense, Daniel Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Abreu. The SC Gadunho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Abreu should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Ferreira during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 87 minutes into the game, David Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavachos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Gadunho the free kick. David Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
