Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cândido Leite started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 11 minutes into the match, SC Maios's goalkeeper Tomás Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Moniz. After 11 minutes, Abel Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Maios and the Freitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Maios's Abel Vale got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Leiria in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Amaro saved SC Maios from getting behind. After 13 played minutes SC Maios got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Melo. Cândido Leite struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gabriel Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Maios. 22 minutes into the game, SC Maios's Fábio Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Fábio Simões came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SC Maios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Simões couldn't finish the play. Freitas's Gabriel Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Leite in the 29th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Armindo Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Maios's Tomás Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fábio Simões took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Rocha. Gabriel Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Duarte Moniz in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Amaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Freitas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Maios were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armindo Leiria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fábio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Rocha having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Hugo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Maios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Gabriel Rocha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Duarte Moniz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SC Maios's Tomás Amaro. Tomás Amaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in SC Maios's zone, Duarte Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Amaro came out of the goal and Duarte Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Rogério Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Freitas's zone, Fábio Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Rocha came out of the goal and Fábio Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Fábio Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cândido Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Leite in the 77th minute of play forced Freitas's goalkeeper Gabriel Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Armindo Leiria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Amaro was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Cândido Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Rocha. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. Tomás Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Armindo Leiria made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Amaro. SC Maios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Tomás Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Duarte Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Freitas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Maios were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
