Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Raul Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marmelete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cabreiro the free kick. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marmelete! The goalkeeper, Rui Barbosa, was totally fooled by SC Cabreiro's André Sousa, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 17th minute, Bruno Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Alberto Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Marmelete's Viriato Castro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, SC Cabreiro's André Sousa tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Emílio Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 28th minute Bruno Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Fontes in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Marmelete's Viriato Castro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Marmelete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Oliveira Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marmelete's Oliveira Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SC Cabreiro getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Joaquim Silva hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emílio Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Fonseca in the 51st minute of play. SC Cabreiro's Diamantino Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fonseca in the 58th minute of play. André Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Reis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Albertino Maia's late challenge caught a Marmelete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertino Maia helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Cabreiro! After a rather tough play, SC Cabreiro's Joaquim Silva got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Bruno Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Diamantino Esteves, passed just outside the right post. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Marmelete. Diamantino Reis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diamantino Esteves. 2-3. If Oliveira Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diamantino Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Fonseca in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Marmelete were awarded a corner. Diamantino Reis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 99th minute Bruno Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marmelete eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
