Filipe Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Adelino Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Cruz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mugideira getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Inácio Amaro hit a great ball. David Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Vale in the 13th minute of play. David Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Filipe Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mário Matias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Filipe Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mugideira's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Adelino Vale fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beiroz's protests and gave Adelino Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute Paulo Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Pedro Sousa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mugideira's David Reis. David Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 49th minute, Mugideira's Paulo Vale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2.

Mário Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Filipe Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, André Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Reis made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Pedro Sousa sent off a good shot on target. When Adelino Vale came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Beiroz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Vale couldn't finish the play. Paulo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beiroz's Adelino Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg David Reis managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Beiroz's Pedro Sousa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Pedro Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Reis could save by the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
