If Rogério Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Porto in the 26th minute of play forced Fontanelas FC's goalkeeper Jorge Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Assunção hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Carlos Machado hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jorge Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jaime Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vítor Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Escadabouca's Ricardo Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jaime Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Sousa scored 1-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Anjos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd play minute Paulo Porto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorge Maia. 1-1.
