Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Adelino Lima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Leão during the 3rd minute. António Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Azevedo in the 10th minute of play. Diogo Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Gabriel Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Macedo. António Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Roussas FC booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Roussas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Leão to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Roussas FC's zone, Gabriel Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Henriques came out of the goal and Gabriel Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Sérgio Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Domingos Henriques managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Palmeiras's Sérgio Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sérgio Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Henriques having to interfere. Lúcio Leão got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lúcio Leão hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Nuno Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Roussas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Bessa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 50th minute. Palmeiras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Palmeiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roussas FC were winning 0-1.

Diogo Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. António Cunha came out of the goal and Diogo Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Rui Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roussas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras the free kick. Diogo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. António Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roussas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
