Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Ramos started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Alfredo Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Campos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sebastião Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Joel Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Campos having to make a save. If Joel Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Afonso Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Reis in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Larangeira FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cristóvão Faria hit a great ball. Pontes's Carlos Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Ramos in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pontes's goalkeeper Carlos Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Araújo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Campos having to make a save. 37 minutes into the game, Armando Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larangeira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontes the free kick. In the 37th minute, one of Larangeira FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Larangeira FC. The goalkeeper, Afonso Ramos, was totally fooled by Pontes's Bento Sá, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sebastião Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pontes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Carlos Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Carlos Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes, Larangeira FC's António Cardoso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Campos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Larangeira FC reached it. Sebastião Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Aleixo's late challenge caught a Larangeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Aleixo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Larangeira FC booed when Pontes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Araújo came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Campos could save by the left post. In the 87th minute, Sebastião Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Pontes's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ramos came free, but Carlos Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
