Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Larangeira FC's Joel Ramos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Ramos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. Larangeira FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alfredo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Martins having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Ramos in the 7th minute of play forced Jagardo's goalkeeper Vítor Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Larangeira FC's goalkeeper Afonso Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jagardo's Miguel Faria in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Afonso Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Marques's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Miguel Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Viegas hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. António Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ramos having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Cristóvão Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larangeira FC and the Jagardo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Faria hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If António Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jagardo's goalkeeper Vítor Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Leiria during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Larangeira FC booed when Jagardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Faria was the one to do the kick off. Vítor Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Alfredo Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Ramos made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when António Marques sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Larangeira FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Afonso Morais hit a great ball. A hard shot by Basílio Resende from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Afonso Ramos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jagardo's Vítor Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Araújo in the 65th minute of play. Joel Ramos struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Vítor Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larangeira FC. 75 minutes into the match, Larangeira FC's goalkeeper Afonso Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Marques. 82 minutes into the match, Jagardo's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Araújo came free, but Vítor Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Gustavo Viegas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Martins showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Ramos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Afonso Ramos came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jagardo's António Marques. But to his dismay, António Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 96th minute Joel Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Araújo in the 97th minute of the match.
