Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Américo Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, SC Azabuxo's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Antunes came free, but Eduardo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gil Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Assunção's late challenge caught a Avidos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Assunção helped the player get up and apologised. Amílcar Miranda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marco Assunção was shown his second yellow card after 14 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Eduardo Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gil Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Avidos FC booed when SC Azabuxo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Avidos FC's Amílcar Miranda tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Avidos FC booed when SC Azabuxo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Campos in the 41st minute of play forced SC Azabuxo's goalkeeper Eduardo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, SC Azabuxo's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Campos came free, but Eduardo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Pedro Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Carvalho. SC Azabuxo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

In the 58th minute, Oliveira Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedro Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Pedro Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Gil Campos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 71st minute, Américo Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avidos FC's Amílcar Miranda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Azabuxo. 75 minutes into the match, SC Azabuxo's goalkeeper Eduardo Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil Campos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Campos got free with Eduardo Carvalho in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Pedro Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Filipe Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Azabuxo's Eduardo Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SC Azabuxo from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Avidos FC's Pedro Antunes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Eduardo Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Avidos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
