With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute of the match Hugo Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Correia skillfully saved the ball. If Américo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Delfim Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Tala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Azabuxo the free kick. In the 9th match minute, SC Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Marques to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Lúcio Luz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Correia skillfully saved the ball. Américo Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, SC Azabuxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Assunção to maneuver through the defense. If Afonso Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Vaz in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Oliveira Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Vaz succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. If Afonso Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pedro Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Rocha hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Carlos Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd match minute, SC Azabuxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Luz to maneuver through the defense. Américo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Antunes in the 63rd minute of play. When Pedro Sá fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Azabuxo's protests and gave Pedro Sá a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Pedro Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Cardoso hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Pedro Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. SC Tala's Pedro Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Moreira in the 85th minute of play. If Afonso Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Carvalho having to interfere. When Carlos Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SC Azabuxo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Carvalho couldn't finish the play. SC Tala's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
