Carlos Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Ferreira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Resende in the 14th minute of play forced Amieiro's goalkeeper Fernando Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amieiro's goalkeeper Fernando Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fábio Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Ferreira having to interfere. Fábio Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Delgado struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Américo Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amieiro. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristóvão Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Ferreira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carlos Delgado made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Carlos Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Fábio Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Cabral having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Baldosa's Afonso Porto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Fábio Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute of the match Afonso Aleixo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Delgado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Amieiro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fábio Resende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Américo Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Delgado in the 90th minute of play. Américo Cabral made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Rui Paiva sent off a good shot on target. When Cristóvão Barros came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Baldosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Barros couldn't finish the play. Baldosa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
