Jaime Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Quelfes's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Gaspar came free, but Diogo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Heitor Gaspar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rui Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Matos in the 28th minute. Diogo Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Heitor Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Diogo Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvaldinho FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Gaspar in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Rocha saved Quelfes from getting behind. After the first half Silvaldinho FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heitor Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. Heitor Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Rocha having to interfere. Jaime Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Quelfes getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. David Pacheco hit a great ball. Quelfes's Diogo Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Quelfes from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Quelfes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaime Miranda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 66 minutes, Jaime Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silvaldinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Gaspar in the 68th minute of play. Heitor Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Diogo Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvaldinho FC. Diogo Rocha made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jaime Miranda sent off a good shot on target. Heitor Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Quelfes's zone, Heitor Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Rocha came out of the goal and Heitor Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jaime Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Pacheco during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Heitor Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Silvaldinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Gaspar couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Jaime Miranda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quelfes's Diogo Rocha. Diogo Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvaldinho FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
