Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Armando Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Barros hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Américo Melo, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. João Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Faria having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Sandro Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Mindel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quelfes the free kick. In the 19th minute, Sandro Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Américo Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Faria. SC Mindel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Quelfes's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Assis came free, but Diogo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Neves in the 28th minute of the match. Diogo Rocha came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Mindel's Armando Assis. But to his dismay, Armando Assis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 44 minutes into the game, Quelfes's Rui Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Matos made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Quelfes's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Assis came free, but Diogo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Vieira struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Diogo Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Mindel. When Armando Assis came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SC Mindel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Assis couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes, Luís Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quelfes and the SC Mindel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Barros, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paulo Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diogo Rocha having to make a save. Armando Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Diogo Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Rui Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Faria. SC Mindel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The Quelfes players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Mindel from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
