Melhorada FC's Carlos Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Pedroso in the 12th minute of play. If José Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Rogela's Daniel Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Matias in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Matias's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Gonçalo Leão struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Rogela. Melhorada FC's José Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Gonçalo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Pedroso in the 44th minute of play. Alexandre Leite in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Matias to make the kick off. Carlos Fontes hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, SC Rogela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Pires having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Diamantino Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Miranda during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Rogela getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Joaquim Miranda hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Melhorada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Pedroso came free, but Carlos Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Ricardo Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SC Rogela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Carlos Pires was a little too slow when Ricardo Pedroso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-1. The SC Rogela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
