Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Guarda started the match with the kick off. Filipe Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Baptista having to interfere. If Diamantino Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Alfredo Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rato FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ramalhoza the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Rato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Ramalhoza booed when Rato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, SC Ramalhoza's Emílio Marques broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Eusébio Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ramalhoza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Neto in the 18th minute of play forced Rato FC's goalkeeper Armando Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Armando Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Rato FC defense, Eusébio Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Baptista. The Rato FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Baptista should have stopped the shot. A collision led to SC Ramalhoza getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lourenço Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Vicente Setúbal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Cruz skillfully saved the ball. After the first half SC Ramalhoza were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Armando Baptista made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Diamantino Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SC Ramalhoza getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Emílio Marques hit a great ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Fernando Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ramalhoza's Cristiano Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Armando Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when SC Ramalhoza's Diamantino Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. SC Ramalhoza's Diamantino Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 minutes, Vicente Setúbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rato FC and the SC Ramalhoza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Setúbal hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Fernando Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Cristiano Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rato FC. After 67 minutes, Cândido Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rato FC and the SC Ramalhoza players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rato FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cândido Magalhães hit a great ball. If Diamantino Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cândido Magalhães was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 71st match minute, Rato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Neto spun around in front of the goal 91 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rato FC's goal. After 92 played minutes Rato FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Miranda. Eusébio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Armando Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Ramalhoza players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
