Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Fernandes started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Fernandes got free with Heitor Castro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Setúbal having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emílio Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Setúbal was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Ricardo Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Emanuel Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondifellos's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Duarte Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

André Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Setúbal made a huge save. If Emanuel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Emanuel Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Heitor Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogério Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Rodrigo Domingues was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Gondifellos's Rodrigo Domingues got a free kick in the 66th minute. Joaquim Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heitor Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Joaquim Neto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lage's Heitor Castro. Heitor Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when André Moura sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rdth minute of the game Emílio Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gondifellos's Ricardo Setúbal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes, Delfim Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gondifellos and the Lage players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lage booed when Gondifellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heitor Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Neto in the 91st minute of the match. Joaquim Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gondifellos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
