Eusébio Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Carneiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandro Viana. Monte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Carlos Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Bessa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Bessa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Vicente Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusébio Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Bessa came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte's Armando Barros. But to his dismay, Armando Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st minute, Armando Barros made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Bessa. Senra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Senra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monte.
